so we've been looking to get INK, our litmag, professionally published for a while...

around january, dawn (magazine director) put together the winter issue in msword for the in-school publication (print and staple, pretty much what INK has always done)... and i took care of turning it into a pdf and making some layout edits (lol right side pages are always numbered with odd numbers) and printing it via lulu... the cover was designed by ellennnnn but then her comp died so i colored it (as in, ruined it OTL)

i placed the order for the test printing with lulu saturday night... and allowing 3-5 days for printing and between 1-5 days for shipping, i was expecting it to arrive like next week...

but it arrived today i was walking home with eelee and we got to my house and saw the fedex package and that was like... EEEEEEEEOMGOMGOMGGGG /highpitchedgirlyscream

it made me extremely happy and excited because now that this worked out well we can probably professionally print our issues from now on

overall i was really happy with the printing and all... one thing ill have to remember for next time is that the interior is strictly black and white without gray so the gray areas became like black dots like screentones...

print run of 5 which means its like... extremely limited edition lol... shipping was so expensive but it was worth it
